Roberta Soldani grew up in her father’s studio — the Casentino’s leading wedding photographer of his generation. She didn’t study photography first. She lived it: playing on the studio floor, assisting on shoots, learning to read light before she could explain why.

At 22 she opened her own studio, shooting on film. She switched to digital when the quality earned it. Then music took over for years — she became a professional musician, touring and performing.

Now she’s back behind the lens. With a musician’s instinct for timing. For the pause before the note. For what happens in the space between.

She studied at the Istituto d’Arte in Arezzo, started architecture in Florence, left it all for the camera. She has worked alongside Italy’s finest photographers across Europe.

Her approach: enter quietly, stay alert, leave with the moments people didn’t know they were having.
